Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Facilitate engaging and interactive group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to share their experiences and learn from one another.

• Provide empathetic individual therapy, helping clients identify and explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their unique goals and needs, fostering a sense of ownership in their therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress utilizing diverse assessment tools and methodologies, ensuring continual growth and adaptation of treatment approaches as necessary.

• Work within a multidisciplinary team, engaging regularly with therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and favorable outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This population often grapples with a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be vital in helping these individuals develop resilience and coping mechanisms as they work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
\n
• Active and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensure in Florida.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

• Experience working with young adults or related populations is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in outpatient settings, particularly in roles focused on group and individual therapy.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and comprehensive treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits\n
