This is a full-time remote position that offers the opportunity to support individuals struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct sessions from your preferred location while benefiting from a collaborative support system among your colleagues. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility for evening hours based on client needs. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will maintain communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, identifying the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific needs.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions designed to enhance clients' coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation skills.

• Engage in coordinated care efforts with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide holistic treatment interventions.

• Monitor client progress regularly, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques and substance use tracking to motivate and support clients in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the dynamics between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment adherence.

• Document treatment activities and progress meticulously in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing staff meetings, supervision, and training sessions to keep abreast of the latest treatment strategies for co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients facing both mental health challenges and substance use issues. Our multidisciplinary team emphasizes a holistic approach, integrating physical, emotional, and social health indicators to ensure comprehensive care. You will engage with diverse populations that may include adults, young adults, and families, working closely to navigate the complexities of their situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Specialized training in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience working with clients dealing with mental health and substance use disorders.

• Experience with integrated care models, including ongoing involvement in case management and treatment plan coordination.

Compensation and Benefits\n
