Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health and substance use concerns, discerning the presence of co-occurring disorders through detailed interviews and diagnostic tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that consider their unique circumstances, integrating evidence-based therapy strategies such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
\n
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with essential coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques to navigate their recovery journey.

• Work synergistically with an interdisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to coordinate and deliver holistic and integrated treatment solutions tailored to client needs.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring and employ motivational interviewing techniques to reinforce client engagement and support their recovery progress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, underscoring the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
\n
• Maintain accurate, ethical, and timely documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and referrals in accordance with established legal and professional standards.

• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunities to enhance knowledge and improve the quality of care provided.

You will primarily work with a diverse population of clients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This includes individuals from various backgrounds, each presenting with unique challenges and recovery needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques for co-occurring disorders.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary team settings.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
