Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to pinpoint patients' trauma histories and to inform tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and the development of coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, learn coping skills, and explore resilience-building techniques.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients have immediate support when needed.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collective understanding of trauma-informed care principles.

Qualifications\n

We are looking for candidates who possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven methodologies for trauma-informed treatment.
