Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to foster healing.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions where patients can safely process their trauma experiences and learn effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with other professionals to ensure an integrated care approach, addressing both psychological and medical needs of patients.

• Delivering crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring patients receive timely help when needed.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health disorders. Your empathetic approach and understanding of trauma’s long-lasting effects will be critical in helping patients navigate their recovery journey and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably dealing with trauma cases.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• The capability to remain composed in high-stress environments while fostering trust and rapport with patients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications, facilitating effective documentation and patient management.

• A collaborative spirit, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
