Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain an understanding of patients' backgrounds and trauma histories.

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping clients process their traumatic experiences and build effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care that addresses both emotional and medical needs.

• Render crisis intervention support as needed, assisting clients during trauma-related emergencies effectively and empathetically.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Ensure meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with all legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in case consultations, team meetings, and community training focused specifically on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in trauma therapy literature to maintain high standards of client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of trauma's long-term effects on mental health, as well as the ability to connect genuinely with clients from diverse backgrounds, fostering a therapeutic relationship that promotes healing and trust.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and methodologies.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a non-judgmental, empathetic approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
