Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and determine the most effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on facilitating recovery, resilience-building, and addressing specific trauma-related concerns.

• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailoring each session to the individual's needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients with processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring every aspect of patients’ treatment is cohesive and supportive.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients in trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them on their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, as well as familiarity with specific modalities such as EMDR and TF-CBT, will be favorably considered.
