Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments for new clients, gaining a thorough understanding of their trauma history to inform treatment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience-building methodologies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Utilize proven therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support client healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to explore their trauma, learn coping mechanisms, and work through their feelings.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and care team members to provide integrated and holistic care to clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services when needed, offering immediate support and guidance to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Actively engage families in the therapeutic process, offering education about trauma responses, coping strategies, and helpful resources.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential client documentation.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the overall knowledge and growth of the practice.

• Stay current with developments in the field of trauma therapy, integrating new findings into practice as appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals suffering from trauma-related disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a key role in helping clients navigate their trauma recovery journey, developing customized treatment strategies that empower them on their path to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• Thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• The ability to remain composed under pressure, particularly in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfort with technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
