Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and determine suitable treatment pathways.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that target trauma recovery while promoting resilience and coping strategies.
\n
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating educational sessions for patients and families on trauma responses and available resources to aid in recovery.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure coordinated care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
\n
• Responding to crisis situations by providing support and immediate intervention, ensuring safety and guidance for individuals facing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to support continuity of care.

• Engaging in case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment approaches and share best practices.

• Continuously improving clinical skills by participating in professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Many of our clients are navigating significant challenges, and your expertise will guide them through their healing process. You will play a fundamental role in fostering an environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and develop coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and a strong grasp of telehealth platforms.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value relevant experience in trauma-focused therapies and interventions. A deep understanding of fostering resilience and providing individualized care will set candidates apart. Your past experience in similar environments will enhance the care we provide to our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary:
