Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate individual patient histories and needs, ensuring the most effective treatment pathways are identified.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that are centered on trauma recovery, utilizing best practices in therapeutic methodologies.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support patients during trauma-related emergencies, fostering immediate stabilization and support.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and self-care practices to promote healing outside of therapy sessions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards of mental health practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest research in trauma therapies to continually enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with trauma survivors ranging from children to adults who are facing the challenges associated with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will provide empathetic support and targeted therapeutic interventions that are instrumental in empowering these individuals towards healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A solid understanding of trauma-focused therapeutic techniques and methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage empathetically and non-judgmentally.
