Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health evaluations to understand patients' trauma histories and recommend appropriate treatment paths.

• Design and implement tailored trauma recovery plans and resilience-building strategies that promote healing.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in processing and overcoming their trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing coping skills and fostering recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma reactions and coping strategies, as well as available resources.

• Document patient progress and uphold strict confidentiality in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your patients will primarily consist of individuals grappling with the effects of significant trauma. This includes those afflicted with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a key role in helping them reclaim their lives by providing trauma-informed therapy in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• Understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic demeanor.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years post-licensure experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who possess a deeper engagement in trauma-focused therapy. Experience working directly with diverse patient populations will be considered advantageous, as will any history of providing training or mentorship to fellow practitioners.

Compensation and Benefits\n
