Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will be part of a collaborative outpatient team that prioritizes flexibility and responsiveness to patient needs. Our therapists work together to create tailored treatment plans that focus on individual recovery goals. While the primary work will be conducted from home, you will have access to a supportive digital infrastructure, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, that enhances communication and documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and to formulate personalized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement custom-tailored treatment plans, targeting specific goals for trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma narratives and developing healthy coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate proactively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient’s unique needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a clear understanding of available resources.
\n
• Educate both patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and ongoing support systems.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, enhancing treatment continuity and accountability.

• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to refine trauma-informed care principles.

• Keep abreast of advancements in trauma therapy and related research through regular training and learning opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to circumstances such as abuse, neglect, accidents, or losses. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, all of whom require tailored therapeutic support to navigate their unique recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant technology applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience delivering mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
