Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to gain an in-depth understanding of each patient's unique trauma history and therapeutic needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that allow patients to share experiences, process trauma, and develop coping strategies in a supportive environment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation that adheres to ethical and legal guidelines, contributing to a comprehensive treatment record.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

Compensation and Benefits\n
