Our outpatient office environment is designed to foster collaboration among our multidisciplinary team, enabling therapists to work alongside case managers, psychiatrists, and other professionals as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health status to ascertain their needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges.

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, and families, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

• Work actively with a team of professionals to facilitate coordinated care and ensure all clients receive holistic support through regular case conferences.
\n
• Utilize crisis intervention skills to assist clients in acute distress, using empathetic approaches during emergency situations to stabilize individuals and provide them with immediate support.

• Engage in community outreach efforts to educate the public about mental health topics, working to reduce stigma and promote wellness initiatives within the community.

As a licensed therapist at Valor, you will serve a diverse client base that may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Possession of an independent state-issued license as either an LMFT, LCSW, LCPC, or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships with clients of varying backgrounds.

• Proven cultural competence and sensitivity, ensuring effective interactions with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic circumstances.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a therapeutic setting, working with clients in outpatient clinical environments.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress and treatment history efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and professional credentials.
