The General Hope Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to the organization from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility. Working hours are primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility may be required depending on patient needs, ensuring that our clients have access to care when they require it most. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and collaboratively identify effective treatment modalities tailored to their needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring alignment with evidence-based therapeutic protocols.

• Provide effective therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process their trauma experiences, learn coping strategies, and cultivate a pathway to healing.
\n
• Work in concert with psychiatrists and additional mental health professionals to deliver integrated care, combining medication management with therapeutic interventions.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies by providing immediate crisis intervention and support, helping clients navigate acute distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that meets both legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities with an emphasis on trauma-informed care and current best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents who are facing challenges associated with trauma. This specialized focus will allow you to deploy your skills in a meaningful way, making a lasting impact on the lives of those who have experienced significant distress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, preferably with a focus on trauma treatment.

• Knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth platforms to enhance patient interaction.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and professionalism.
\n
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies for improved patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and working within a telehealth framework will enhance your ability to meet our clients' needs effectively. Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention will also be valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
