Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identifying effective treatment strategies.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on recovery, resilience, and personal growth.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to client needs.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate healing, promote coping strategies, and address trauma-related concerns.

• Working closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a responsive approach to patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, primarily consisting of individuals impacted by trauma. Your expertise will help facilitate healing processes for patients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Many of our clients also have co-occurring mental health issues, requiring an adaptable and empathetic approach to care.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications pertinent to delivering mental health services.

Preferred Experience\n
