Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and clarify treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on fostering trauma recovery, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process trauma, build coping strategies, and engage actively in their healing journeys.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and expertise under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and support network.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continued education seminars to further develop skills in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults and adolescents experiencing trauma and related disorders. This may include individuals with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding these clients through their therapeutic processes, ultimately contributing to improved mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW in the state of Colorado.

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically in trauma-focused therapeutic settings.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment practices, and methods for building resilience in clients.

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on a compassionate and client-centered approach.

• A demonstrated ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, contributing to effective crisis management.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data entry is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
