Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and trauma histories, guiding your interventions and treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals, focusing on recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support emotional healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their experiences, establish coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, integrated care for our patients.

• Respond to crises by providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them to utilize supportive resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will support are primarily trauma survivors, who may be grappling with conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is crucial in fostering recovery and empowering patients as they navigate their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A strong knowledge base regarding trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
