Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience, adapting therapeutic approaches to best suit individual patient needs.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to empower patients in processing trauma and developing healthier coping mechanisms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in exploring their experiences and emotional responses while fostering a community of support.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care and integrated treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and mental health resources available to aid in recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards while adhering to our clinic's protocols.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care knowledge and practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, ensuring the integration of innovative approaches into treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves trauma survivors, including individuals affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a therapist, you will provide support to patients from diverse backgrounds, adapting your approach to meet their specific cultural and personal needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications to enhance efficiency in documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-focused therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
