Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, enabling our therapists to balance work and personal life effectively. The outpatient clinic’s structure allows flexibility in service delivery, and while the primary hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minor adjustments may be required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories, needs, and suitable treatment methodologies.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated and comprehensive approach to each client's care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards via our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and treatment trends in trauma therapy, continuously improving service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a patient population affected by various trauma-related issues, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will directly contribute to the healing process of individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking support and guidance. We value cultural competence and strive to cater to the unique circumstances of each client, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices and trauma-related disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations, providing clients with reliable support.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates who demonstrate strong passion and commitment to trauma-informed care will also be considered. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies, along with a keen understanding of resilience-building approaches, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
