Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insights into each patient’s trauma history, guiding the development of targeted treatment strategies.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, incorporating the latest evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s specific situation.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to foster healing and resilience.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing an open space for patients to process their experiences and build effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each patient receives holistic and integrated care.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support and guidance to clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in New York as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and the ability to implement trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome candidates who possess a strong foundation in trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Compensation and Benefits\n
