Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique traumatic history and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans leveraging evidence-based interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and coping strategy development.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge to aid recovery.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation in compliance with legal standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma backgrounds, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, tailoring your approach to their specific needs, and fostering an environment where they feel safe to explore their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proven trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor in all patient interactions.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and empathy, ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation and data management.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
