Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and establish clear treatment goals.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience building, and coping strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster healing and growth.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process their trauma experiences, develop coping skills, and build supportive relationships.

• Engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Providing crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and support patients effectively.
\n
• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to ensure informed decision-making and engagement in care.

• Utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation while adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality protocols.

• Participating in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and remain current with trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve our therapeutic offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with clients struggling with the effects of trauma, including veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals coping with pervasive traumatic experiences. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges, making your role pivotal in creating a healing space where they can explore their feelings, gain insights, and work through their trauma in a constructive way.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly in trauma-focused care.
\n
• Thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience in delivering various trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to fostering a non-judgmental environment for clients.

• Ability to remain composed under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during crisis situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
