Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their experiences.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in developing effective coping strategies and promote overall healing.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated approaches to treatment.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support to clients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective care.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential client documentation adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development focusing on trauma-informed care best practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continuously enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on assisting individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse client base, including those from various cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses, ensuring that all individuals receive compassionate and tailored care. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure in the state of Washington as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• Demonstrated ability to provide trauma-informed therapy with a strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
