Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting findings from the initial consultation through the course of treatment.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that cater to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to nurture client growth and resilience.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary while ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to create multidimensional intervention strategies.

• Maintain communication with psychiatrists and other medical practitioners regarding clients admitted to hospitals.

• Identify and proactively work to mitigate behaviors that impede recovery, offering guidance and support to clients and their families.

• Provide consultation and assistance to primary caregivers and family members managing mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
