The Get Well Counseling Center is looking for a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring access to resources and support from our outpatient office in Renton, Washington. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential adjustments to accommodate patient needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will engage with colleagues across different specialties, collaborating on best practices to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and current mental health status.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions, including techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and enhance their healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, assessing immediate needs and coordinating timely responses.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation according to state and federal regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, improve practices, and contribute to the professional development of peers.

• Stay informed about the latest research and techniques in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center focuses on individuals who are survivors of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by sensitivity, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.

• Ability to remain composed and effective under high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and skilled in basic computer applications.

• Experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual compensation between USD 80,000 and 104,000, commensurate with experience.
