Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each client's unique trauma history and guide treatment planning.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans designed to address individual trauma recovery needs, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping clients process their trauma, enhance their coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, cohesive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, supporting clients during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms while also connecting them with additional resources.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss best practices and innovate trauma-informed care strategies.

• Keep abreast of current research and therapeutic approaches related to trauma therapy, actively integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will involve understanding the unique challenges faced by these clients and using your expertise to create meaningful recovery strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate, non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and provide a calming presence for clients.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid understanding of digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with trauma-focused practices.
