Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with patients. This modern therapeutic setting provides you with flexibility while maintaining a high standard of care. Working from home, you will engage with clients through video sessions, ensuring they receive the support they need in a familiar and comfortable environment. The role also involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's individual trauma history and determine the best treatment strategies.

• Craft and implement personalized treatment plans focused on recovery and resilience-building, continuously adapting plans based on patient progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, developing effective coping mechanisms, and encouraging healing.

• Work closely with a team of mental health professionals to ensure that care is integrated and holistic, exchanging insights and strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support as required, effectively managing trauma-related emergencies with composure and professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families about the impact of trauma, potential responses, and coping strategies to empower them throughout their recovery journey.

• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient patient management.

• Participate in continuing education, case consultations, and team meetings, contributing to the collaborative spirit of our trauma-informed care environment.

• Stay informed on the latest research and practices in trauma therapy to continue improving your skills and delivering the highest quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve predominantly include individuals who have experienced trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and others dealing with the effects of complex trauma. Your clinical expertise will be vital in helping these individuals navigate their healing journeys, providing them with the tools and support needed to regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed approaches.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach in interactions with patients.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide calm, decisive support to clients.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technologies.
\n
• A proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly preferred. Familiarity with various therapeutic frameworks, particularly those related to trauma recovery, will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits\n
