Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments using trauma-informed approaches to evaluate patients' psychological well-being and trauma history.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental health improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient recovery.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and facilitate healing.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver integrated patient care that addresses all aspects of a patient's well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention during emergencies and provide immediate support to patients experiencing trauma-related crises.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance understanding and support.

• Ensure precise documentation of patient records in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and team meetings dedicated to enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily supports individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will guide clients towards recovery and resilience, with a focus on cultivating a safe and therapeutic environment for all. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting, ideally focusing on trauma-related care.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, including familiarity with trauma-informed treatment approaches and resilience-building strategies.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, providing a stable environment for patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
