Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, gathering detailed histories to create customized treatment plans.

• Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate effectively managed interventions and positive outcomes.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, share experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available support, fostering a greater understanding of mental health challenges.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Join in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings, actively participating in professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma. This demographic may include adults, children, and families coping with complex mental health challenges stemming from traumatic life events. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n
