Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and current mental health status, tailoring treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass evidence-based strategies, focusing on trauma recovery, coping mechanisms, and resilience-building.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that provide patients with community support and shared coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients facing complex mental health challenges.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services and support for clients experiencing acute trauma reactions.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment strategies and share insights focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of trauma survivors, including individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is pivotal in nurturing a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, ensuring these individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current state licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and an extensive knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• The ability to manage stressful situations and maintain composure while providing empathetic support to clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Team-oriented mindset, with a capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary therapeutic team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
