Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and establish personalized treatment paths.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on recovery from trauma and fostering resilience in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients articulate their experiences, develop coping strategies, and work toward emotional recovery.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
\n
• Actively participate in crisis intervention to support clients during traumatic emergencies and acute episodes.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and resources available for additional support.

• Maintain thorough, confidential records compliant with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives centered on trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in trauma therapy to continuously refine therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your role will be working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma. Our patient demographic includes adults who struggle with PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health challenges. Through individualized therapy, you will support clients in processing their experiences and developing resilience for future challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license to practice as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, therapeutic modalities geared towards trauma recovery, and resilience-building techniques.

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and a non-judgmental attitude.

• Able to remain calm under pressure and in emotionally charged environments.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general computer applications supporting telehealth services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
