As a remote work setting, this position offers flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. Your core working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some accommodations made for patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and design appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on the unique trauma recovery pathways of each patient, leveraging evidence-based practices.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at providing support, cultivating coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for patients, enhancing overall therapeutic effectiveness.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a compassionate response.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability.

• Engage in case consultations, interdisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities aimed at advancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on assisting individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By employing a trauma-informed lens, you will be instrumental in helping these clients build resilience and integrate their experiences into healthier patterns of living.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in a mental health setting, preferably with trauma populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
