Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at In-Health Consulting, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment approaches.

• Developing individualized treatment plans focused on promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, using evidence-based frameworks.

• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on processing trauma experiences and equipping patients with effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a cohesive care approach for each patient.

• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and responding with empathy and competence.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary population you will be working with consists of individuals affected by various trauma-related disorders, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be pivotal in addressing their unique needs, fostering a supportive space where they can feel understood, validated, and guided toward healing.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental, and inclusive approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and relevant computer applications, ensuring smooth operational procedures.

Preferred Experience\n
