Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that explore patients' histories and identify suitable treatment interventions.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, employing methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver tailored individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate the processing of trauma, development of coping strategies, and nurturing healing.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to deliver integrated care ensuring continuity and effectiveness.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, helping them navigate the recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus primarily on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. This includes survivors of personal and collective traumatic events, such as abuse, neglect, and other adverse experiences that can lead to mental health disorders. In this capacity, you'll be developing meaningful therapeutic relationships that empower clients to confront their challenges and embark on paths of growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing competency in trauma-related services.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies and resilience-building strategies.

• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated through a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic approach.
