Although your role provides the convenience of working from home, you will also engage with our outpatient office team in Tucson. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' trauma history in order to develop targeted treatment approaches.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resiliency, and holistic well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address patients' specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure positive health outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards as mandated by the profession.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated on current research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on empowering individuals who have experienced trauma, from adults facing PTSD to those dealing with complex trauma and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each patient and improving their overall wellbeing through compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid professional licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling services.
\n
• Strong expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies, including a solid foundation in resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and collaboration with patients and colleagues alike.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications to maintain patient records efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
