Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand patients’ histories and healing needs, tailoring approaches to foster trust and safety.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and coping strategies.

• Utilize established therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effect positive behavioral change.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process traumatic events and develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care to our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused interventions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and manage patient crises effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology to facilitate remote sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in trauma-focused therapy and participation in case consultations or team-based care will significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role.
