Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health evaluations to identify clients' needs accurately, crafting tailored treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to address mental health issues effectively.

• Collaborate with case managers, medical staff, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic care and integrated treatment strategies for each client.

• Provide timely crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute episodes, drawing upon your clinical expertise to manage immediate psychological distress.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives that educate the public about mental health resources, aiming to destigmatize mental health challenges and encourage individuals to seek help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients within the detox center, many of whom face co-occurring disorders related to substance use and mental health challenges. A culturally competent approach is essential, as you will work with individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds, ensuring that their unique experiences and needs are understood and addressed.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with a diverse client base.

• Strong organizational skills, ensuring all documentation and client records are maintained accurately and promptly in accordance with established protocols.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
