Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide therapy services from the comfort of your home office while maintaining a work-life balance. We utilize telehealth technology, ensuring seamless interactions with patients through secure video calls and online communication tools. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to meet our patients’ needs, ensuring that you are able to provide care when it is most needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to determine patients' needs and develop effective treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques specific to the needs of each patient, taking into account their cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, and actively engage patients in discussions to foster resilience and promote mental wellness.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and resources.

• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their mental health journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in case discussions and team meetings, contributing insights from your cultural competency training to enhance patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona is mandatory.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and the importance of cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience providing therapeutic services to individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds using culturally informed methods.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in challenging situations are essential.
