Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique experiences and challenges faced by older adults, including cognitive and physical health factors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on the geriatric population, addressing a range of mental health disorders including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, dementia-related conditions, and issues related to life adjustments. You will play a crucial role in fostering a therapeutic relationship with elderly patients, understanding their unique experiences, and adapting your interventions accordingly.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is required.

• Strong knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders and an appreciation for the nuances of therapy with older clients.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and an ability to communicate effectively with elderly patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
