Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of children and adolescents, employing standardized evaluation methods.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider developmental milestones and family dynamics, ensuring each patient receives personalized care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy, to effectively address a range of mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers with tools to support their child’s emotional and mental health.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists to coordinate treatment efforts and ensure that all aspects of a child's care are comprehensively addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention services to swiftly address urgent mental health issues in children and adolescents.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the nature of mental health conditions and available treatment options, while also connecting them to community resources for further support.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development initiatives, contributing your insights and expertise to improve practice outcomes.

• Stay current with the latest research in child and adolescent mental health to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will play a crucial role in promoting emotional health and resilience in young patients, contributing significantly to their developmental journey and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a current and valid licensure in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• Strong foundational knowledge in child and adolescent development and mental health disorders.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
