Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify the needs, challenges, and strengths of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect each patient’s developmental stage, family relationships, and individual circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to effectively address a diverse range of mental health disorders, with a focus on building lasting coping skills.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to educate and involve parents and caregivers, ensuring a supportive home environment for the young clients.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other members of the treatment team, ensuring a coordinated strategy for patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, demonstrating quick thinking and compassionate support to both clients and families.

• Engage in educational outreach by informing families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records compliant with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to track progress and outcomes effectively.

• Participate actively in team discussions, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to remain current with practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. By addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders, the therapist will play a critical role in promoting healthier, happier futures for their clients. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in mental health counseling focused on children and adolescents.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Proficiency in conducting both individual and family therapy sessions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, marked by a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families to foster productive therapeutic relationships.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology, supporting efficient documentation and treatment tracking.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 per year, reflective of the candidate's experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.
