In this remote position, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while staying connected with your colleagues through virtual meetings, case consultations, and collaborative care discussions. Your standard work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions while considering developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Provide a variety of therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, committed to addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Deliver family therapy sessions designed to empower parents and caregivers, equipping them with tools and strategies to foster a nurturing environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during high-stress situations, maintaining a calm and empathetic demeanor to assist young individuals in distress.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, promoting transparency and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a population of children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, who are dealing with a multitude of mental health concerns. These issues range from anxiety and depression to attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and mood disorders. Your work will be crucial in supporting these young individuals and their families through their mental health journeys, allowing them to develop the skills necessary for emotional resilience and success in their everyday lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in California.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and treatment approaches, especially evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to children and families, understanding their unique dynamics and needs.

• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to connect empathetically with young patients and their families.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology to manage patient information efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community mental health setting or outpatient clinic.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, along with comprehensive benefits designed to support your health and well-being.
