Work Environment\n

Working remotely from your home office allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the role primarily operates in a virtual setting, occasional evening shifts may be required depending on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs, strengths, and challenges of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools where appropriate.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider individual developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural backgrounds.

• Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and support systems within families to foster a nurturing environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to care, including case discussions and coordinated treatment strategies.

• Deliver timely crisis intervention services, providing immediate support to children and families during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community resources, helping them navigate their journey toward better mental health.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clients' progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge of the latest trends in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on providing mental health services to children and adolescents, dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, varying in age, background, and mental health needs, allowing for a rich and fulfilling therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating competency in child and adolescent mental health.

• Thorough understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidenced by hands-on experience with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on creating a compassionate, child-centered therapeutic environment.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth platforms used for patient interactions.

• Ability to work collaboratively as a vital part of a multifaceted team dedicated to child and adolescent psychiatry.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a generous benefits package that includes comprehensive healthcare coverage, a retirement savings plan with employer contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO) along with holiday pay. A sign-on bonus may also be available depending on candidate qualifications.
