We offer a structured Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual developmental needs and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to engage young individuals effectively.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and guardians to support their children's mental health journey.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other health professionals to create integrated care plans, ensuring comprehensive treatment across disciplines.

• Provide crisis intervention to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate families about mental health disorders, available treatments, and community resources to foster informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on children and adolescents dealing with a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , or Licensed Psychologist in the state of New York.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a child-centered approach to therapy.
\n
• Proficient use of electronic health record systems and common office software.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, ready to contribute to a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on children and adolescents.
