Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs while developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique challenges and goals.

• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions, employing diverse therapeutic modalities to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

• Work closely with clients to establish achievable treatment goals, utilizing ongoing evaluations of their progress to adjust interventions as necessary.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records while adhering to all state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring client information is protected at all times.

• Engage in continuous education by staying informed on the latest developments in mental health counseling and actively participating in training sessions and professional development workshops to enhance your skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our facility serves a diverse array of clients from various demographics, including individuals of all ages with different mental health conditions. You will be called upon to tailor your therapeutic approach when working with children, adolescents, adults, and senior clients, ensuring each individual receives the appropriate level of care and support based on their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• Proven experience in providing counseling services, particularly within a community mental health setting, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 52,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
