Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments through initial consultations to effectively document clients' backgrounds and concerns.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, promoting comprehensive well-being.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, focusing on relevant therapeutic techniques to engage clients meaningfully.

• Monitor and document client progress continuously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with their evolving needs.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and other mental health professionals to formulate comprehensive intervention plans.

• Provide necessary follow-up care and communicate with external healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization or additional medical services.

• Proactively identify and mitigate potential barriers to recovery, offering guidance and support to clients to foster resilience and coping strategies.

• Engage and educate family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to address mental behavioral challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population encompasses individuals from various backgrounds, including adults, children, and families who experience a range of mental health challenges. By utilizing evidence-based practices, we work closely with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health challenges to derive effective therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• A valid and active license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably with experience in AVATAR.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities that foster client relationships.

• An in-depth understanding of mental health disorders and effective therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in a community health, outpatient, or hospital setting.

• Familiarity with addiction support methodologies and other underlying health conditions affecting mental health.

• Knowledge of current best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
