Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health status and needs.

• Design tailored therapeutic plans utilizing evidence-based practices for individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with effective coping strategies and practical tools to manage their challenges.
\n
• Develop strong therapeutic alliances with clients, fostering an environment of trust and respect to encourage open communication and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor clients’ progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or medical doctors, when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to enhance the quality of care delivered.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling is necessary.
\n
• Strong background in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience delivering therapy in both individual and group settings.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
\n
• Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse individuals and communities.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate various software applications efficiently.

• Commitment to professionalism, upholding ethical standards and client confidentiality in all interactions.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
