Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through initial consultations and ongoing evaluations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain a consistent schedule of therapy sessions, providing clients with the tools and strategies needed to overcome various mental health challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for open discussion and healing.

• Refer clients to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and specialists, when necessary, to ensure holistic treatment.

• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to collaboratively discuss patient progress and care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse clientele includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with various age groups and cultural backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent and sensitive therapy that respects each client's unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• At least two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and the ability to apply these effectively in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
