Work Environment\n

The position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to contribute to our mission while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. Our regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some potential flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments that capture the unique experiences and needs of patients, utilizing tools and frameworks that emphasize inclusivity.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual, taking into account their cultural backgrounds and personal histories.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, employing sound judgment and specialized techniques.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment methods, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to refine skills and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly involve individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrants. This requires understanding the particular challenges and barriers these groups face, ensuring that the care provided is not only effective but also affirming and respectful of their backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a particular emphasis on cultural competency.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy with a culturally responsive and inclusive approach.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, capable of remaining composed in high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
